About Orunodoi 3.0 and our Assam scheme guides
Orunodoi is the Assam government's monthly cash support scheme for households that need it most. Under Orunodoi 3.0, selected beneficiaries get โน1,250 on the first of every month, paid straight into a bank account through DBT. Most families receive it in the name of a woman of the house.
This scheme confuses people more than it should. Who is eligible? Is there a form? Why is a neighbour on the list and I am not? Our guides try to answer exactly those questions in plain language, with a link to the official source wherever we can.
A few things are worth knowing before you start. The first selection happens locally, at your Gaon Panchayat, VCDC or urban local body. Your ration card and Aadhaar need to be in order. And you never pay anyone to be included. If you are new to the scheme, begin with our Orunodoi 3.0 eligibility and documents guide, or read how the beneficiary list works.
FAQ
What is the main goal of this website?
Orunodoi.info is an independent guide. We explain the Orunodoi scheme and other Assam government schemes in plain language: who is eligible, which documents you need, how to apply and how to check your status. Every guide links to the official source where one exists.
Can I apply for schemes directly here?
No. We do not take applications, documents or payments. Applications are made through the official portal or your local Gaon Panchayat, ward or district office. Our guides only show you the steps.
Who can get the Orunodoi monthly money?
The money goes to a woman of an eligible household, and the household needs a ration card under the National Food Security Act. Groups such as Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) cardholders and old or infirm women are covered, as are women in households with a combined yearly income below โน2 lakh. Government employees and pensioners, and income tax payers, are excluded. Use the checker above for a quick indication.
How do I know if my name is on the new list?
Check the beneficiary list on the official Orunodoi portal or ask at your Gaon Panchayat or ward office. Our beneficiary list guide explains the steps.
Are these updates official from the government?
No. We read official notifications and portals and explain them, but this is not a government website. Always confirm important details, such as dates and amounts, on the official portal before you act.
